I Just Sued the School System

Albert Einstein once said "everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid". Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, today on trial we have modern day schooling , am glad you could come; not only does he make fish climb trees, but also makes them climb down, and do a ten mile run. Tell me 'school' are you proud of the things you've done, turning millions of people into a robot; do you find that fun? Do you realize how many kids relate to that fish, swimming up streaming class, never finding their gifts, thinking they are stupid, believing they are useless?? Well the time is come, no more excuses, i call 'school' to the stand and accuse him of killing creativity, individuality and being intellectually abusive. He's an ancient institution that has outlived his usage. So your honor this concludes my opening statement and if i may present the evidence of my case, I’ll prove it.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE WORLD

I'm David Galaxy, and am your friend...

I came across an article published by Time Magazine some years back – What’s Wrong with the World? This one billion worth question left me first worried, then sick; actually it took me by surprise, I’ve never thought something was wrong with the world and what it could be. I was quite young then. Few years later i grew from sick back to worried and later on interested, really curious this time, If something is wrong with the world, which without a shadow of doubt; I’ve lived to witness weird stuffs all over the globe, then it's time i knew what it is.

During my search, I came to meet diverse convictions. A pastor friend of mine insists that the problem of the world could be traced down to the Family. He believes strongly that a godly family will definitely breed a godly child, and if half of the homes of a community were healthy homes and peaceful, nothing stops that community from being healthy and peaceful. In progression, if few communities having half of their homes healthy - it’s going to make up for a healthy local area. If local areas with healthy communities, a healthy state it is. States translates to regions and countries to continents and our world is healed. This bill made me want to end my search and buy the idea because this is so true. Broken homes is one strong fast spreading virus that creeps beyond boundaries.

THE GREATEST SOURCE OF INSPIRATION ~ MEDITATION

The following is a Meditation for personal Growth.

Several years ago while taking an acting class, I came across a very eye opening meditation. It was taught as two separate exercises. The purpose was to gain insight from your past and get more in touch with your character.

After learning the exercises, I quickly adapted them into a powerful tool. This meditation for personal growth takes about 10-15 minutes and will provide insight into your past and future.

To begin
Find a place where you have privacy and won’t be interrupted. Sit in a comfortable position and start with some slow deep breathing. Do this for a couple of minutes. Allow your mind and body to relax and unwind from the day.

Part 1
Imagine yourself in a room with two chairs that sit facing one another. Take a seat in one chair. Imagine the youngest version of yourself that you can remember walking in through a door. Invite the past you to sit down in the empty chair facing you. Speak to the child version of yourself. Ask- what do you love about your life?...➤cont.reading...
