Why Do The Good Die?

Why Do The Good Die?

My name is David Galaxy and I'm your friend. Please never forget that.
Today is Friday and by Sunday 29th, I will be among the graduating students of Word Of Faith Bible Institute(WOFBI), Basic Certificate Course(BCC); July special at Living Faith Church across the street, the biggest branch in my metropolis. ok, am a bit nervous but I'll be fine. The two weeks intensive study was one of the most amazing experiences I've had this year. Towards the end of the lectures on the day before the final lecture day, we were on the 12th course now which was the last one - Principles Of Ministry, a controversy arose as our lecturer, Pastor Joshua tries to explain to us how the upcoming generation are more intelligent and more inquisitive than ever. He told us of how his 5year old daughter asked him one morning, out of the blues, Why do good people die? Stunned to his belly, he didn't know what to say to her, how is he supposed to explain to a 5year old such puzzling philosophy. Later on that day, this same question turned to a 25mark project.

Trying to answer this philosophy gave me more thoughts than I actually needed for some project. Quit weird, but this was actually the first time I'm really looking at this question hoping for an answer. I think I have heard this before, but I have never thought it had an answer and there I was with a paper and pen, 25marks at stake, with totally nothing coming to my mind. really?

I finally started writing something, well I had to write something and I want to share that with you. I hope this doesn't offend anyone I'll try my best to present my persuasions amicably with respect to the fact that we all are individuals with differences. This is just my idea nothing more and am sure you have yours(it will be nice if you will share it with us below at the comment section so that we all can benefit from it as well)

WHY DO GOOD PEOPLE DIE?

Firstly, it is important to have at the back of our minds that - Everyone Dies! Death is not just a punishment for bad people or something but death should be viewed or say defined as - The completion of Life. I love a saying that says "No one makes it out of Life Alive". This sums it up, whether good or bad, you're supposed to die someday. With this established, the controversy now boils down to Time Question - when should a good person die? The Controversy about the good dying basically is a product of the when and sometimes the how factors. Premature death of a good person is largely not comfortable and that is the bone in the philosophy Why.

At this point, I am very careful to say this. When talking about a good person as in a Christian dying; it should never be heard. It sounds insulting and degrading and trust me, it is. As painful as it is, yet we see it happen everyday. Permit me to say this and please may you never misunderstand me. It is only an Ignorant Christian that is permitted to Die. I repeat, only Ignorant Christians die. I know you've had a loss of a loved one probably a very nice person who didn't really deserve to die, trust me, I have had my own fair share of the puzzle and no one really deserves to die but lets get something out of this. Basically, you can't operate beyond the level of your enlightenment and your strength and exploit depends largely on how well you are informed or how much you know about your source; they that know their God... A Christian is worth so much but until we realize that being a Christian didn't just qualify us as a candidate of heaven but also restored the ruler-ship, the dominion of this earth which we lost to Satan back to us; in other words, as an ambassador of the Kingdom, you are the god of this world no long Satan. This understanding vets the operation of darkness and wickedness from our lives. The knowledge of what it truly means to be a Christian places us high above the law and operation of death in other words, you can not die unless you say so. There is so much to say about what being a Christian is really all about, I think I'm being inspired to write on that sometime. We rise according to our access to spiritual intelligence. It is very risky to live in this world and not know who truly we are for Satan has no power of it's own but rides flawlessly on our ignorance.

In addition to the already established truth, some other factors include Sin and the unwieldiness to submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Speaking of sin, a Christian has never...NEVER died because of he sinned, no. But failure to recognize and thereby humble himself and plead for mercy can cost him a lot more than just his life. God is a merciful God all He requires is that we acknowledge that we're just mere men bound to flop at one or two occasions and humble ourselves and ask for forgiveness as often and quick as possible. A Christian should never die because he sinned, it's an error. The best gift God ever gave to us in addition to salvation is the person of The Holy Spirit. The acid test for a matured believer is being led by the Holy Spirit. Hey friend, you can trust Him if not for anything He was recommended by Christ Himself to lead and guide us, teaching us all things. Be rest assured He can never lead you to death.

In conclusion, I want to balance an equation here. Let's take a look at Jesus' life on earth. He grew in strength and wisdom, did ministry for 3years and died at age 33. That sounds premature doesn't it. You see we really need to clear up our definition of premature. Pre-maturity has nothing to do with age but rather fulfilment. Someone is said to have died prematurely if he hasn't even found purpose or still working on it apart from that a fulfilled person even if at 30 should be celebrated; maybe God couldn't wait to have him home. Paul said - "for me to die is gain..." A Christian should never view death with fear and anxiety but as a privileged to return home relieved of duty.

These Quotes should Inspire You:

"someday, you will read or hear that Billy Graham is dead, don't you believe a word of it. I shall be more alive than I am now. I will just have changed my address, I will have gone into the Presence of God." - Billy Graham

"The noble act of Dying is meant to be experienced only by those who had the courage to Live"- #drdavidgalaxy
